Extra threaded holes on Sideboard

Hey Folks,

I have a silly question. Were the extra holes on the sideboard earmarked for something?
I want to make a tool/bit caddy and fasten it to those holes. What Have you guys used them for in your builds?
I’m hoping those holes weren’t meant for something additional that’s part of the xcarve.

I am wildly guessing here.
Place to mount the power supply etc if you don’t use an X-Controller. ???

I think they’re extra locations to mount the X-controller if you don’t want it up front.
