Coming from a graphic arts background I am very used to making duplicates of items for various reasons. In Easel I have found that I want to copy items and paste them back in place. I do not see a paste in place option. I would really like to have that added or for someone to tell me how to do it without having to move the copy to the same location as the original.
I agree that would be nice to feature to have. In the mean time, I have used the Offsetter (v2) App to accomplish this.
Select the shape you want to ācloneā and open the Offsetter v2 app, set distance to 0, iterations to the number of copies you want, click āImportā. You will get a duplicate directly on top of the shape you selected
