First project, Address sign for my home/buisness? GOOD OR BAD?

This is my first real project i have done on the xcarve, im learning as i go. Still unclear how to paint it, just kinda messing around… thinking of just getting a bush and painting the insides letters…then sanding like i tried here.

Thoughts and opinions highly suggested.

i have the 1000mx1000m wheres a good place to find project files? other then here on the xcarve site?

The carve looks great. Use contrasting colors so you can see your sign from a distance. You will want your customers to see it easily. Awesome job on the sign

if you seal the whole sign with shellac first then paint the recessed areas, when you sand you will have nice clean edges with no paint bleed.
