I completed assembling the x carve and was in a hurry to do a project. So the first was a nameplate for my brother. Simple but a way to test my machine assembly.
I was sort a pleased with this and I tried the next step. a graphic with scroll lettering and a couple of stars for good measure.. Well onto the next step. Lesson. The smaller the bit the more detail, .062 is needed for scroll writing.
You don’t need to set all projects at 1/2 inch. Dude that does V* Carve videos does projects with 1/2 wood. He must plane it.
