My wife has an extensive font library on her laptop. How can I access those fonts to use in my projects?
Inkscape or illustrator or Vcarve
If you want to use them in your Easel projects, then you will need to create your words in a vector program like Inkscape (free) or illustrator (commercial) then save them as SVG (Scalable Vector Graphic) and import them as such.
If you are willing to use a separate program then you can use some thing like Vcarve (paid) Aspire (paid) or Fengrave (free) or Carbide Create (free) and use them.
Ok I’ll try those options. Thank you for the information.
You may need to convert the type to outlines though — in Inkscape that’s
Path | Object to Path
thanks that worked
