Fusion360 Code/Simulation did not match to the X-Carve behavior (Z-Axis)

@theguymasamato Sorry for the late response, I did not see that you had replied. I’m not seeing anything in the file that would cause what you’re describing.
When the carve goes 1.5mm too deep, is that being shown by the machine position in the machine inspector? I can’t see why it would be going down 1.5mm too far.
That leads to a few possibilities:
An issue with your zeroing.
Stock that is not flat. One millimeter in pine won’t matter, but aluminum is less forgiving. Try a facing operation first to level the stock.
A mechanical / setup issue. Are your steps per mm calibrated?

Hi,
I tried the same g-Code on a piece of wood.
It’s working. Everything is fine.

The problem is, that I changed two things in one step.
So, I don’t know what the real problem was.

a) I used UGS instead of easel.
and
b) I changed the stock settings in Fusion.
Before…

After

012

Do you have an idea? a) or b)

Tomorrow I will try it again with aluminium.

thx
Have a nice day.

UGS and Easel require different post processors.

Hi @HaldorLonningdal,
thanks for your answer.

Yes, I know that. I changed them in Fusion.
grbl and the f-360 easel

I don’t think the problem is with your file. I think it’s with your zeroing, your stock, or your machine.
