I have read that fusion 360 drilling will work on x carve. My question is this. Does fusion not just insert a g83 when drilling is required ? Therefore why does G83 work if fusion is used but not if you put it in othwise. Can I write the code useing G83 manually and put it in ? Just wondering.
If the G 83 works through fusion. Can you not just make an app within easel to do the same ?
Note that if a G83 is used by F360 the Easel Post Processor most likely translate this into straight gcode.
I don’t think G83 is supported by GRBL, per the GRBL Wiki:
As other said, the post processor may do a series of G1 commands instead of just a G83.
