Gift card question

Can someone tell me if i buy a $100 and receive the $100 gift card that will come in 2018, can i use it towards anything i want to buy on the site or is it just towards a new x carve? I have asked Inventables and not heard back and tomorrow is the last day to buy. Thanks
This is what it says on front page and i just need some clarification.

"Buy $100 in bits and materials in December. Get a $100 gift card to buy an X-Carve in January. "

Looks like you can use the gift card just like any other gift card, for anything.

Yes you can. I contacted them and asked them if I could use it to buy vcarve and they told me that you can buy anything in their store with it.
