I tried it with a generic 50degree bit, broke one, but the main problem is it doesn’t really seem to cut chips, but rub the metal out of the way. So the resulting finish is atrocious.
any ideas?

anything within reason. Say 30 euros max. if its really good at the work i need it to do

seems to cut metal (steel?) pretty well
