GRBL 1.1e support

Hi,

First of all, kudos to inventables for making this amazing app.

I’ve been using it for some days with an arduino/gshield CNC and GRBL 0.9j getting very good results (milling). Today I decided to upgrade it to GRBL 1.1e and benefit from some cool features like dynamic laser control.

However, I noticed that easel no longer works with my machine and GRBL 1.1e. I’ve checked the output console and it prints this:

Grbl 1.1e ['$' for help] read -> portOpened Grbl 1.1e ['$' for help] read -> portOpened Grbl 1.1e ['$' for help] read -> portOpened

And repeats indefinitely…

Any fix? Is there any expected easel upgrade?

I’m using the latest driver (3.2 - OSX)

You can try this to get variable power laser work done until Easel supports 1.1e.

I haven’t run this one with Easel, but Easel does work with 1.0c.

Anyone succesfully using GRBL 1.1e or later?
