Happy Valentines Day! (PROJECT SHARE!)

With all the work you do Phil I figured you’d have some real live edge wood around you could just throw on the machine or do you plan on doing one of your fancy acrylic frame lit signs with flashing red/pink?

Barky looking piece of wood on valentines day. Can you be a little creative to touch her soft heart. Like heart shaped box with good face carving, maybe earings and/or necklace in it. Common Phil, it’s a barky looking wood. :disappointed:

Nice job.
Now if only I had a special someone…

That looks really great. I’m going to have to see if I can do this in Fusion 360.

Hi Phil, How are you getting the details of the bark to show through when importing the .stl file. I’m using Vcarve Pro. When I go to set the z scale height to .75 I lose a lot of the detail.

I’m still losing detail. I’ll keep messing with it and see if I can figure it out

Where do you scale the height to .73 at? And where do you scale and uncheck the scale z height box at?

I’m still missing something I think. Is it still to high?

So after resizing it to .73 I lose the detail. Is that correct?

Thanks Phil.
