Hello!
I’m trying to figure out what to do when I import a 3rd party STL file and its form is slanted. Idealistically, the file would not need to extend the extra depth resulting in unnecessary cut time. That noted, is there anyway to adjust a 3rd party figure’s angle; please see attached picture for a better visualization of my particular context.
Also, as you can see in the attached picture, when I imported this project, the toolbar window frame was removed from the application, consequently leaving me with just one of the two editing window frames. Is this normal? Is there anyway to reengage the panel that has the measurements and the additional toolbar? - please reference 2nd photo.
Thank you!
I have no clue why your guitar body is tilted. I don’t use Easel very much, but I would open the STL up in another program and see if it is angled or flat. If it is still angled, I’d rotate it horizontal. It kind of looks like an SG from here. When people post drawings and models, that is their interpretation of what may not be an actual copy. I’ve seen plenty of guitar models that are off.
Here are other stls for an SG

Thank you so much, Martin. Obviously, there’s still a lot for me to learn about how to use different programs as well as understanding the different types of files.
I’ll go ahead and follow your lead and see if I can find a way to tweak it back to a flat design.
Thanks again!
