I have a trophy case to make which is no big deal. i have to make a cradle for a basketball to set in. does anyone know how i can do this on x-carve.
Can you use 3 towers and have it sit in that as the cradle? If it needs to contour perfectly then you could use the super gradient tool in easel to create a bowl shape

How about a square box construction without the top and bottom? You could curve the top edges to cradle the ball better. Kind of like a 4 sided crown.
