Why is it when i am trying to plane a board with aramana 1.125 " surfacing bit it leaves ridges?
I would say your z axes is not tramed with your wasteboard. In other words the z axes is not square is leaning one way or another.

If your router isnt exactly perpendicular to the material one side of the cutter will ride lower than the other => ridges. You can gauge the direction of tilt by feeling the ridges, the ridge “steep” side is your low point.
