I just started with my first carve. I thought I had my bit in the correct location to start carving. But it wasn’t so my carve was not centered. So if someone could help me that would be awesome.
Welcome to the forums Richard. If you are starting in the lower laft corner you need to center the bit right over that corner.
Welcome, you can place the work piece anywhere on the waste board. You just need to tell the CNC where it’s starting from.

Tim and Wayne are both correct. I have been carving for a while now and this still happens to me now and then. If I need the carve to be perfectly centered, and the project permits, I use a center start rather than a corner start. Just a suggestion but that typically works for me.
