why does the text in Easel show one size in the dialog box say 4" tall but its really only about 2.5" tall…the grips around the text on top and bottom are way above and below the letters. Makes it really difficult to center properly
I think that’s just how text works.
Try creating the text in Inkscape, converting to path, and importing. Alternatively, use the Xploder App.
Most vector based programs handle text in the very same manner so this isnt Easel specific.
