How does centre of job work when it comes to carving?

When designing a job in Easel, wanting the finished product to be in centre of material. When it comes to carving job do I zero job at centre of work material. Not sure what went wrong but carve began at top right area of material instead of centre. Any help would be much appreciated.

The Easel always begins the carving using the lower left corner of the cut area AKA 0,0 as the reference. You have to move the art work so it’s center is at 0,0 to “start” your bit in the center.

Check out this video from Phillip Lunsford of Paw-Paw’s Workshop for a good how-to. Use the Center for the Home Position in Easel. Part 1 - YouTube

Good luck!
