How much is the smallest depth to which you have carved in an Xcarve

how much is the smallest depth to which you have carved in an Xcarve. I want to try carving in glass with a Dremel bit but I do not know how much is the minimum that supports the xcarve

When I have tried to put in hundreths of a mm in Easel, it rounds to the nearest tenth, so 0.1mm is the smallest using Easel (though you could “cheat” this by homing it slightly higher than it thinks it should be as the navigation controls go to hundreths of a mm). That’s a little less than 0.004 inches. However, using other software, you should be able to go even shallower than that.
