Thank you for your reply, indeed, I don’t have a router table, i’m just using the Xcarve in a shared workshop. I would need a single bit because indeed the size of the hole is the same whatever the glass lens (except specific sights requiring very thick lenses…). I’m a little bit lost amongst all the answers 
does a thrading but with fusion 360 would work at the end ?
