How to carve a pocket within a pocket?

I’m trying to carve a pocket that sits within a larger pocket. But once I set up the larger shallower pocket it removes the deeper pocket within it. I hope that makes sense. For context, I’m making a recess for a bottle opener and carving a deeper slot to allow the bottle caps to fit into the opener.

Try moving the deeper pocket to the front and that should work.

Right click>move to back (the larger shallower one)

Easel works based on layering and the top layer will cover up the back layer…
