How to remove a part of a circle

I’m making a sign as a gift to a friend that owns an antique store. I have everything ready except for the circle logo which is a 3/4 circle. How can I break or remove 1/4 from the bottom of the circle?

Cut it 1/4 inch deeper.
(And i’m only guessing that you are using English dimensions)

In Easel you place a square over the 1/4" and set depth for that to zero and the combine.
