How to separate items?

There is combine feature but why there is not separate items? Many times have to delete some parts etc when importing pictures…

Select the combined object. Got to easel apps and select the exploder app. Follow the steps. When you import the object back into your project screen it will be separate items again

Im not trying to separate once combined item. For example i have 5 objects on SVG picture, how to separate them?

I use the Offsetter app for that, choose zero for the offset distance and it will create a copy of every object as a separate shape.
