Great help from this forum and from the Invetables team…
The first test carve worked flawlessly from the machine side. Just goofed on the bit and not generating a preview before starting. I take it as a success though!

Looks like you are on the right path.
made some mistakes but seem to have been noticing where it went wrong.
you are doing great, keep it up and you will love where this can take you.
