I am trying to type out a mission statement around a star. There will be a star inlaid later. The problem I’m having is in my typing out the statement and erasing mis typed letters. They do not go away, they seem to go away but when I go to re-type they re-populate and now i have the whole alphabet at least 2 times over. This is day 5 and I’m starting to lose it.

Do you know how to share a file? If you make it public and post a link, other forum users can open it and see what you’ve got going on.
Under the Project tab, choose ‘share’, and post the link.
I’ve been using Easel for about a year now. I’m not an expert by any means- but I’ve gotten great help when I’ve needed it. This sounds like a pretty east fix.

I suggest designing in a different software, like Inkscape (it’s free) there you can use a function like “put on path” and the words will follow the shapes perimeter and the text editing function works better as well…
