Hey guys so I got the chance to go to a friends house and learn some autocad and built myself a part for a project I am working on; Anyways he emailed me a .pdf of the drawing, so I imported it into Adobe Illustrator and then removed all of the technical drawing stuff to be left with just the part. My part has multiple holes and shapes that need to be cut out with tabs. Anyways I save as a .svg import to easel and easel has the entire thing as 1 part. so it puts tabs in random spots. Is there any way I can import the file so that I can work on each individual shape?
Hmm wonder if I can find the alternative to that for illustrator
