Inkscape and J-Tech laser

Has anyone used Inkscape with their J-Tech laser?

If so are there any videos or information available for setup, or how to use the software with the laser.

I did install a plug-in, so I’m not sure if that is all I’m needing to get the laser going.

That will get you going but if you want a better program try Picsender or Lightburn. You will never go back.

I have downloaded light burn too.

Maybe I will see if I can find some videos to help me figure out how to use it.

Lightburn has great instructions, a 30 day trial period, is quite intuitive, and has a great forum with very knowledgeable people to help you out.

I’m watching videos now.

But I still haven’t seen how to lower the laser to the material.

Can you point me in the right direction on how to do that?

Where are they located in light burn, I’m not seeing it?

They are on the main screen on the right side. If you click on the move button you will see them.

This is what I’m seeing. I don’t see a move button anywhere.

OK, now I seen it.

It was not clicked under the menu.
