Hi, my name is Randy. I just received my 1000x1000 x-carve this weekend as a birthday gift from my wife. Since mentioning it to her over a month ago I have been lurking here trying to learn as much as I can and have found MANY interesting topics. I am looking forward to being at the point where I can contribute with my experiences.
I work as a software engineer and have been for nearly 25 years. I have a ton of hobbies which include my 3D printers, arduino electronics, building an underwater ROV, model trains, wood working, building my koi pond, fishing, general DIY, and a curiosity in almost anything that is considered a “make” in today’s society.
