Inventor HSM Post

Hi,

I just got my X-carve set up this week and am struggling on getting my Inventor HSM G code to up load to either V-Carve Pro or Easel. I have tried post processing with TinyG and GrBl. The import initially starts then tells me that my G and M codes have errors.

Our students are trying to make acoustic speakers and have created all of the tool paths with Inventor HSM.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

I dont use inventor but I do have artcam witch has no post processor for the xcarve I output as generic gcode remove the header info and add G20 for inch G21 for metric then also add G90 or G91 I will give you a example when I get home.

I MIGHT BE WRONG BUT IT WORKS FOR ME.

You will need to install the post processor into Inventor. Download it from the easel site, Easel - Downloads (use the fusion360 one)
And then install it into the folder on your computer housing your post processors. If you click the post process button in Inventor HSM it will show you where this is located.
