This had been a topic of discussion years ago, but since there was no software to tie into, no one could figure out how to do it. Now that we have a feed rate control (thank you Inventables) has anyone revisited this? Outside of a simple macro, is there a way to add a dial to the machine to control feedrate like many other machines have?
There are no physical inputs available for feedrate control on the current version of grbl. All commands have to be sent through serial communication from the control software. Maybe when the ARM version is released.
I am pleased with the over ride control on the current Easel UI.not likely
