Issues with inlay square corners rounding out

To build off of what @NeilFerreri1 said, @CalebASanz we normally see that rounding of the edges when the v-carve bit is set a little too deep. So you wind up plunging further into the edges causing the rounding.

Easel is more than capable of giving you the exact result your looking for. I’d reach out directly to support (help@inventables.com) and we can dial in your exact program and get your cuts looking great!

Hello everyone. I want to chime in on this once more. After going crazy for a few more months, I finally realized that I had a lot of play in my z axis. I was so sure I didn’t and I thought I had checked that off my list, but I had more than a 16th of an inch play. That came from have a loose collar on my z axis lead screw.

I have since fixed it and tried another vcarve using a 60 degree bit … going .3 inch deep and it came out perfect.

Don’t I feel foolish, but I wanted to just come back on
Here and admit my fault in the event it can help someone with the same issue

Glad you got it working!
