How to increase speed on my new xcarve cnc
Manual jogging moves at the set max speed. This is the grbl settings $110, 111 and 112 for x,y,z.
You could do a bunch of testing and tune these to get more speed, but you risk possibly momentarily seizing the steppers when modifying these settings which isn’t good to happen during a carve…
This video shows the steps i follow when doing this, but the video is showing a 3018 cnc and use a different software. However this can be done in easel using the machine inspector page which you can get to by pressing ctrl+shift+D within Easel.
