Certainly wouldn’t recommend it, but it does get me wondering about some sort of fingernail tattoo or some sort of scar type brand…
Tried on a hot dog. Just burns it.
Done with a steered beam laser at a previous employer. Fades in a day or two.
What if you hit it with black spray paint, sand off the overspray and add a coat of shellac?

Good day all, here is my setup for the JTech 3.8w laser with the dust booth. Hope you like it. If I have enough people interested i’ll post the files on Thingiverse. The changeover between router and laser is very simple and quick. I’ve also incorporated the safety switch on the gantry for easy access. For smoke extraction I use an old portable vacuum that I have hooked up to my dust hose and that I place outdoors.
