This is my latest attempt at a clock and it seems to have won over the recipient.
The Kiki logo was vectorised from a image found on the internet, with the rest designed in CamBam.
The painting was done using a technique suggested by FatKat.
3 coats of clear, followed by spray painting the entire piece. This is then sanded back to the wood leaving the carved areas till painted. The red ribbon was done by hand after the sanding. The bare wood was then finished in a couple of coats of Danish oil.
