Has anyone here carved lamacoid signs? These are the labels and signs you see around that are made from 2 colour acrylic. You carve into the top layer revealing the letters in the bottom color. I have been using a very sharp pointed bit that has a flat ground into it. My original bit went dull years ago and I haven’t been able to find a good replaceemnt. They all seem to build up a ball on the tip until the carve looks terrible. I have to sit and watch it carve and clean the tip off with a brush. Even still the finish is not as good as it use to be. Any idea what bit would work for this.
