The J-Tech is very popular. The OX lasers are not as popular, but I know of some CNC users that have them. I use a stand alone diode laser from NextWave Automation. It’s not as convenient as having both together (especially if you are going to do a job that needs both laser and CNC). However, I have pre teen children and I like the NextWave’s full safety enclosure with air assist and exhaust.

I also have a JTech 7w laser. By far one of the best decisions we made. I also use lightburn software with it and it works very well with the X-Controller.
