Yes that is a mirror. You can see my legs in the reflection below the engraving. It’s tricky to take pictures of a mirror engraving without everything in front of it showing in the reflection. I used Corel Photo Paint to add the black jagged border to the photo.

Yes, it’s a 1988 Lotus Esprit Turbo. The one I posted previous of the 1976 Jaguar XJS, is a red 1990 Lotus Esprit Intercooled Turbo SE.
This one was done with CW (Constant Wattage) using a variable feedrate to engrave the shades.
This was done with varied intensity to engrave the shades. Both were done on cabinet grade Birch Ply.
