Here is a 3D spindle relief in Poplar we painted shades on afterwards using a 445nm Laser Diode. We combined two Picengrave Pro gcode files together (Spindle & Laser) with our PicLaser 3D program so the laser’s focal point followed the reliefs contours to maintain it’s focus.

Dang I want to do that. Looks like I am gonna have to buy another X-carve for a laser mod.

Wow. Can you tell me your parts list and or what you use?

So picengravertoo… I will do some research but I have to pick your brain since you have the experience. What should I be look at for an entry level laser engraver that would do pictures on wood. I would like something that gets me going and has enough capability to keep around after my skills go up. Can you recommend a model or a starting point for me to start?

I guess my question is… knowing everything you know now…what would you do if you started all over again.

Thanks for your time. Your stuff is amazing!

I will do that this weekend thx!
