I need to engrave some thin aluminum plates (.032 thick) with 0.125 high single stroke text for an aircraft restoration project. I can create the engraving graphic in Inkscape, but when I import the .svg into easel, the “I” letters drop out of the text. I’ve tried the SHIFT + CTL + C, (which doesn’t seem to work), and I’ve also used the STROKE TO PATH command in Inkscape. When I use that command, all the text but
the “I” comes over. Anyone have any suggestions?
