Line width

Is there a way to control the width of the line that’s being cut? Sorry if this is a silly question.

Use a different end mill or V-carve to cut lines of varying width and depth.
If you’re more specific, we might be able to give more specific advice.

I suspect the concern is on the design side. And Neil is correct about bit size.
That is how Easel works unfortunately. Try designing with bit setting small (1/16) then change to actual size for detailed preview and before carving.

For example on this carving it’s supposed to fit together like a puzzle and with cutting all the way through I have to use a 1/8 bit for the length. Also the picture was taken off of google. Is there a way to shrink the lines for it to fit better?

I see. You have to remember that a 1/8" end mill will remove at least 1/8" of material. For a piece like that, you’ll have to split the design into two sections and carve each one outside the line. If you share the project, someone can help.

I think that is a matter of choosing to carve inside, outside, or on path.
