Spent some time in the shop last night and decided to make a low profile vice for the xcarve. The design is a two piece so that there are less limitations on size it can hold. This build was made from stuff just laying around the shop. A later version will be made from aluminum with steel inserts for the jaws. Easel says the bit is too large but everything came out just fine. The wood is semi trailer flooring and is ridiculously hard and should hold up quite well for testing.
