Hi All i m new in this forum and try to find something on homing for machines with out limit switches , can you perhaps help where to find this topic

Without limit switches, the cnc cannot home. Well, not traditionally at least. I know the original Xtool d1 laser would crash into the corner and use current sensing on a custom controler board to be able to home without switches, so i shouldnt say it cannot be done, but rather 99% of controller boards wouldnt support homing without limit switches.
