We are trying to cut a script letter and the tip of the letter keeps breaking. We have it cutting with an 1/8” bit, setting 1 on a 611, at 36” per minute. Any suggestions?
I have had it happen as well, the script just gets to thins for the MDF to hold up the MDF it is a soft material. You can try cheating it by running the text through the offsetter app and thickening it up a bit. If you do this you have a small bit of work to do on the file it creates to make it work.
Maybe try the tape a CA glue trick under that area to keep it pinned down better?
