I’m thinking of using my x-carve to make some molds of various shapes/objects so I can mix exotic wood and epoxy resin together. Is there a good material you guys have used to accomplish similar to this? I was thinking of getting some rigid insulation and carving my molds into that, but my concern is it will only be good for one epoxy pour and I’ll have to do it all over again. Is there a material epoxy resin won’t bond too?
HDPE works well
Corian also work well.
