Have a SVG file and I want to set different cut depths, want the lettering to be below the cut out areas. Not sure how to only select certain items for depth setting.
With the design selected, select the lego button on the left, then use the Shape Exploder OR the Xploder (I forget which one will do the job, I usually like to make a copy and run it through both and select the one with better results)
This will separate your design into a lot of separate elements, if you want to combine some stuff back together to make selection easier, you can select multiple pieces and select Edit>Combine (or Command+J)
