I currently have GRBL 1.0c and the update fails when I try to go to 1.1f . The connection is good.
Also how do I back up my settings? Copy them to a word doc and then re-enter?
I had the same issue a few days ago and took it as an omen not to upgrade. Watching this space with interest.
My driver is current. 0.3.9
Yeah same here… 0.3.9 on the easel driver 1.0c for grbl firmware. The easel updates always seem to work for me. This is the first time I followed the prompt to update the firmware in the unit. The updater simply times out and gives the failed message.
Again… I figure it is an omen
