It only seemed right for my first complete project (not a test-cut) to be a sign for the shop.
I used V-carve desktop w/ a 90deg V-bit for this one. Pulled the tool bitmaps off of google images and vectored them in v-carve. The font is “Ronnie Brown”
The material is a piece of 3/4" pine scrap wood. Finished 1 coat of shellac (should have done 2), then spray painted black. Next, I sanded the paint off the un-milled surface and stained it with Minwax “colonial maple”. Finally, finished it with a couple coats of Minwax “Polycrylic” water-based polyurethane.
