My first project

Great idea.

Would love to see the ceiling all done.

Another idea would would be ceiling medallions for light fixtures.

How long did it take to cut and what are the dimensions?

Thanks @EbenStrydom I will definitely take a completed shot. It’s a new coffee shop going up in town and would love to share it. The length of the cut was 5 hours per tile at 2’ x 2’ in size. I’m guessing I could cut this time down since it’s fiberboard to 4 hours. But I’m still learning the XCarve and want to take things at a steady pace and not break any bits, etc.

OOO PRETTY!..(20char)

I’m still saving to order mine, but projects like yours inspire me to do whatever to order one.

Keep up the good work.

My third project, but my first with an simple engraving tool. I purchased the drag engravers (90 degree and 120 degree) and had some success with it. They were purchased off of ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Diamond-Drag-Engraving-Bit-90-degree-USA-Made-1-8-X-5-for-Engraving-Machines/111258550167?_trksid=p3693.c100102.m2452&_trkparms=ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140212121249%26meid%3D2b9340a5781242079a7fa39956304683%26pid%3D100102%26)
