My machine does not communicate qith my computer

Hey guys,

Even when I bought the XCarve long time ago, I have not used it, so I am new to all of this 3D stuff. I used to carve some projects in the past, and this weekend I tried again but I can not make the connection between my computer and my XCarve, and I keep having this message that says that there is no communication, I am getting frustrated. I tried all the advises I got, but to no avail.
I would appreciate any help,
