I have NEMA 17’s and the Dewalt 611 on a 500x500. So far I have not had any issues at all due to the motors.
Installed the belts last night, mounted the z-axis ACME and motor. +started with the wireing.
The belt clip designer has a strange sence of humor.
No pictures this time cause my camera Went out of batteries.
Im still not sure how it will work to connect my spindle to the x-carve.
Since the my spindle has a higher rating than stock one, i needed different Power supply. but since the stock power supply also powers other parts of the machine i (had?) to buy that one anyways.
Probably i have to connect the new (non stock) Power supply via the stock one. otherways i dont know if i will get the signal for motor to start.
Well i have some time to figure that out or pherhaps getting advice? Still have some other parts to do that come first.
This would work but your gantry and carriage should always be in the same spot - as far on both axes away from the tensioning bolt as possible.
