We’re excited to announce that the Floor Plan Editor is now live in Easel Cabinetmaker!
Key features of this new update:
- Create Custom Room Layouts: Easily draw walls, set lengths and angles, and design both rectangular and non-rectangular rooms by adding and editing points in the Floor Plan view.
- Place Islands Seamlessly: Arrange island cabinets at any orientation
- Real-Time Adjustments: Modify your room layout, and your cabinets will stay attached and adjust accordingly.
This new update provides more flexibility and customization and a more accurate visualization of each room that is sure to impress your next client.
Try It Out Today!
How it works:
- Open up a new Cabinetmaker design, or one that you’ve already created. In the bottom-right corner of the design visualizer, you’ll see the 3D option is selected.
- Click on the Floor Plan button, and you’ll be brought into the floor plan editor
- Click and drag any point along the walls to reposition that point. There are helpful visual guides to show you the length and orientation of each wall.
- Click anywhere on a wall to add a new point
- Select a point on the wall and hit Backspace or Delete to remove it
- Once you’re satisfied with your floor plan, you can click on the Design in 3D button to return to the 3D editor. You can go back and forth between the floor plan and the 3D editor as you are designing to make sure that your room is laid out exactly how you want it.
